Experiencing and understanding Agile combines a theoretical deep dive with an exemplary application of Agile working methods using a game. We teach you all you need to know about Agile, Scrum and Kanban. In addition, we will show you how the transformation of the working world, the growing complexity and the pace of change favor the application of Agile working methods.
Basic Course Content
Participants of this workshop will learn about the origins of Agile, different frameworks and scientific concepts. Additionally, we will define and differentiate terms and convey the basic values of Agile. At the end of the course, the participants apply what they have learned in a game. During this game you will learn the advantages of reflection and adaptation:

Brainfood: Theories of human work motivation, Agile Manifesto, key elements of Agile, difference between frameworks, work in progress limits

Roles: Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developer

Frameworks: Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall

Artifacts: Sprint, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Product Increment
Target audience
This workshop is designed for business and IT teams that want a first in-depth theoretical and practical input of Agile working methods. In addition, this workshop makes for an exciting and entertaining kick-off event for new initiatives.
Benefits
Participants are taught the origins and basics of Agile working methods as well as Agile values. Participants will be familiar with the different roles and their responsibilities. In this workshop, you will learn how to define and differentiate terms. This learning experience is combined with a group game, which shows the advantages and limitations of the different methods.
